Our governance
The Office supports the Leader of the House of Lords in managing Government business in the House and handling legislation. It works with the Cabinet Office and departments while respecting the House’s own independent parliamentary administration.
Current ministerial offices and responsibilities are published in the List of Ministerial Responsibilities. Senior officials remain accountable for the administration, governance, risk and delivery of the department within the Civil Service.
