Lord Lieutenant OfficerEethCoth121 founded United Hampshire in 2015.
After founding and establishing United Hampshire (formerly Hampshire Roleplay Community), Eeth became the Lord Lieutenant and Constitutional Founder and Custodian.
Following the formation of the United Hampshire Government, Eeth temporarily stepped into the position of Chief Minister in April 2026 to carry the work of the United Hampshire Government forward until the first General Election.
Eeth has served as the Chief Constable of Hampshire Constabulary since 2015.
Eeth currently has two cats - a Siamese boy and a Tonkinese girl, and previously had two before they passed.
The Lord Lieutenant is the Head of the Community and serves as the Constitutional Founder and Custodian of United Hampshire. The role combines ceremonial representation with defined constitutional and strategic responsibilities.
As Lord Lieutenant, he:
upholds the constitutional integrity, continuity, and long-term stability of United Hampshire
exercises custodial responsibility for the Community’s assets, systems, and institutional framework
provides strategic oversight of the government, ensuring it operates in accordance with the Community’s constitutional principles
appoints the Chief Minister and, where necessary, other senior office-holders in accordance with constitutional arrangements
may dismiss the Chief Minister where it is determined that the Ministerial Code or constitutional obligations have been breached
authorises intervention by the Lieutenancy in circumstances of governmental vacancy, failure, or crisis
retains limited emergency powers to act immediately to protect the Community in situations of urgent threat, including risks to safety, security, or system integrity
ensures that all exercises of constitutional or emergency authority are subject to post-action accountability, review, and transparency
represents the Community in a ceremonial capacity, including acting on behalf of the Crown where appropriate
The Chief Minister is the leader of the Lord Lieutenant’s Government and is ultimately responsible for the policy and decisions of the government.
As leader of the UH government the Chief Minister also:
oversees the operation of the Civil Service and government agencies
chooses members of the government
is the principal government figure in the House of Commons

The First Lord of the Treasury is one of the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury. This role is usually held by the Chief Minister.
Since the 17th century, the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury have collectively carried out duties that were previously held by the Lord High Treasurer (head of the Lord Lieutenant's Treasury).
The Lords Commissioners of the Treasury also include:
the Second Lord of the Treasury - the Chancellor of the Exchequer, who has most of the functional financial responsibilities
Junior Lords Commissioners of the Treasury - other members of the government, usually government whips in the Lower House
10 Harrington Court is the official residence of the First Lord of the Treasury, and not of the Chief Minister.

The Minister for the Civil Service is responsible for regulating the Civil Service.
The Civil Service (Management Functions) Act of 1992, allows the Minister for the Civil Service to delegate power to other ministers.
This role was created in 1968 and is always held by the Chief Minister.
As Minister for the Union, the Chief Minister works to ensure that all of government is acting on behalf of the entire United Hampshire: the Steadfast Platform and the County of Hampshire.
