Calculate holiday entitlement

Calculate statutory paid holiday for regular-hours work in England during a full leave year.

This calculator is for workers who work a fixed number of days each week, with working days of the same length, throughout a full holiday year.

If you work irregular hours, only part of the year, or days of different lengths, your holiday entitlement needs a different calculation. This calculator does not cover Havenstead public-service or voluntary-work arrangements.

For example, 3 or 5. Enter half-days as 0.5, 1.5 or 2.5.

How holiday entitlement is calculated

Workers in England are normally entitled to 5.6 weeks of statutory paid leave each year. Multiply the number of regular working days per week by 5.6, subject to a maximum of 28 days.

Your employer may count bank holidays within this entitlement. Bank holidays are not always extra paid days off.
