How government works
The United Hampshire Government develops and implements policy, administers public services and is accountable through the constitutional institutions of the United Hampshire Realm.
The Chief Minister and Cabinet
The Chief Minister leads the government. Cabinet brings together the senior ministers responsible for the main areas of government business.
Government departments
Ministerial departments are led by ministers and supported by civil servants. Non-ministerial departments, executive agencies and other public bodies carry out functions assigned to them within the United Hampshire system.

The Civil Service
Civil servants support the government of the day, provide impartial advice and deliver public administration and services.
Parliament and the Judiciary
Parliament is responsible for legislation and scrutiny. The Judiciary exercises judicial functions independently of government.
Constituent countries and local government
Functions are allocated between central government, the constituent countries and local government according to the constitutional and territorial settlement.
