Roles & Structure of our Boards and Committees.
The Cabinet Office Board provides strategic and operational oversight of the department. It brings together ministerial leadership, senior Civil Service leadership and non-executive participation where appointed.
Executive and management committees support the Permanent Secretary and senior leadership in managing delivery, resources, risk, capability, people, security and departmental performance. Specialist committees may consider investment, audit, risk, people or other matters where the department requires dedicated assurance.
Boards and committees do not replace the constitutional responsibilities of ministers, Cabinet, Accounting Officers or other office holders. Decisions remain with the authority to which the relevant function is assigned.

Cabinet Office publishes accountability information through the applicable annual report and accounts, governance statements, board-interest information and related corporate publications when those products are in force and cleared for publication.
