Chief Minister’s Office, No.10 Harrington Court is the official office of the Chief Minister. The office helps the Chief Minister to establish and deliver the government’s overall strategy and policy priorities, and to communicate government policy to Parliament, the public and other audiences.
What we do
Chief Minister’s Office, No.10 Harrington Court supports the Chief Minister in leading the United Hampshire Government.
The office provides:
- private office support, advice and briefing for the Chief Minister
- support for Cabinet, Cabinet committees and parliamentary business
- support for ministerial appointments and constitutional business
- coordination of the government’s overall strategy and priority delivery
- correspondence and public engagement
- communications support and liaison with Government Communications
- national security briefing and support for the Chief Minister’s role in national security machinery
- liaison with departments, public bodies and constitutional institutions
- support for external and intergovernmental engagements
Who we are
No.10 Harrington Court is the executive office serving the Chief Minister. It forms part of the Cabinet Office departmental family and supports the Chief Minister directly.
No.10 Harrington Court is the official office and executive residence associated with the Chief Minister. It does not replace the responsibilities of ministerial departments or other public bodies.
