Our governance
The Department for Culture, Media and Recreation is governed through its ministerial and senior Civil Service leadership. Its governance covers culture, heritage, media, public-service media, recreation and public events, with sponsored services and bodies accountable through their own approved governance arrangements.
Current ministerial offices and responsibilities are published in the List of Ministerial Responsibilities. Senior officials remain accountable for the administration, governance, risk and delivery of the department within the Civil Service.
