The UH Fair Work Agency is an executive agency of the Department for Work and Skills.
Leadership and accountability
The Chief Executive leads the Agency and is responsible for operational delivery and sponsor accountability. The Minister for Employment is the responsible Minister.
Advisory Board
The UH Fair Work Agency Advisory Board provides strategic advice, scrutiny and challenge. Its authorised seats include a Chair, an independent member, a worker representative member, an employer representative member, the Chief Executive, the Director of Enforcement and Compliance and the Head of Strategy, Intelligence and Partnerships.
The Advisory Board does not exercise operational enforcement powers.
Sponsorship
The Department for Work and Skills sponsors the Agency. Sponsorship does not transfer Acas, tribunal, HSE or other independent functions into the Agency.
