The Agency’s delivery priorities for 2026 to 2027 are to establish reliable employment-rights enforcement, maintain clear boundaries with other employment and regulatory bodies, and provide accountable public information about its work.
Priorities
- operate lawful inspection, investigation, compliance and enforcement arrangements
- maintain clear working relationships with Acas, tribunals, HSE and other competent authorities
- build reliable intelligence, risk-targeting and partnership capability
- maintain controlled records and auditable decision-making
- publish clear enforcement policy, governance and reporting information
- support DWS fair-work policy without taking over policy, adjudication or specialist-regulator functions
Delivery remains subject to the powers, resources and functions lawfully assigned to the Agency.
