Enter or stay in Havenstead

Your citizenship and immigration status determine whether you need permission to enter or stay in Havenstead. The Immigration Act 2026, Immigration Rules and British Nationality Act 2026 set out the relevant requirements.

If you already have citizenship

People who hold United Hampshire Citizenship have the right of abode in Havenstead under the law. You do not need separate immigration permission while that citizenship continues.

If your citizenship record is wrong, request a record correction. To show that you already have citizenship, request evidence of citizenship.

If you need immigration permission

The usual route is General Permission for a lawful purpose, subject to the Immigration Rules. Your circumstances determine what evidence you need and which application procedure applies.

Settlement allows you to stay without a time limit, but it does not by itself give you citizenship.

How to apply

Apply for immigration permission or settlement in Havenstead. The application asks for your circumstances and the evidence needed for your route. The Interior Office will check your application.

If you cannot use the standard application process because of a disability or other access need, ask for an alternative arrangement.

If your application is refused

Your decision notice should explain the reasons and any right to review or appeal. If your decision can be reviewed administratively, request an administrative review within the time stated in your notice. A tribunal or court appeal is a different process.
