Express an interest in ministerial service

Find out how to register an initial interest in political ministerial responsibilities.

About the service

The Coth ministry is inviting expressions of interest from people who would like to be considered for political ministerial responsibilities in the United Hampshire Government.

This is an initial opportunity to tell the Chief Minister’s Office about your interests, experience and availability. Ministerial appointments are made separately by the appropriate constitutional authority.

Who can express an interest

You can complete the form if you are interested in ministerial service in United Hampshire. The eligibility and requirements of any particular office are considered before an appointment is made.

Ministerial service is separate from recruitment to the United Hampshire Civil Service.

What the form asks

You will be asked for your preferred name, email address, areas of government that interest you, reasons for your interest and usual availability.

You can also provide relevant experience, details of another office you hold, a particular portfolio of interest and any communication adjustments you would find helpful. You do not need to provide a CV.

How your information is handled

The Chief Minister’s Office uses your answers to consider your interest and contact you. Read the ministerial expression of interest privacy notice before submitting the form.
