Mental health and wellbeing support

The National Wellbeing Service (NWS) provides non-clinical wellbeing support in Havenstead. You can ask for help with stress, anxiety, loneliness, grief, low mood or difficulties affecting your participation in activities.

What support is available

Support may include:

  • someone to talk to about a concern
  • wellbeing check-ins
  • advice and self-help information
  • peer or local support groups
  • help finding another service

The help offered depends on your needs and the service’s available arrangements.

Ask for help

Explain the concern in your own words and say how you prefer to be contacted. Tell staff if you need an adjustment or a different communication format.

See Ask for wellbeing or care support for what happens after a request.

Confidentiality

The service should explain how information is recorded and when it may need to be shared to protect someone from serious harm. Only information needed for the support should be requested.

Urgent problems

NWS is not a clinical or emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger or needs urgent medical help in the real world, contact the real emergency services.
