Recreation and public activities

The National Recreation Service organises recreation sessions and activities. Other public bodies and independent organisations also run events.

Find an activity

Look for an announcement from the organiser. It should tell you:

  • what the activity involves
  • when and where it takes place
  • who can take part
  • how to join
  • any rules or support available

The organiser is responsible for the activity and for announcing changes or cancellations.

Taking part

Follow the organiser’s instructions and the rules for the venue or platform. If you need an adjustment to take part, contact the organiser before the activity where possible.
