We support ministers in leading wellbeing, civic care and safeguarding so that people can access trusted support, prevention, early help and safe routes to further assistance.
Our responsibilities
We are responsible for:
- supporting and advising ministers on wellbeing, civic care and safeguarding policy
- mental-health support within United Hampshire’s proper remit
- prevention, early help and trusted first-contact support
- member support, signposting and continuity of care
- safeguarding strategy, referral standards and information-sharing safeguards
- peer support, local support groups and routine wellbeing check-ins
- care and emotional aftercare following serious incidents
- support relating to coercion, exploitation, cyberbullying, identity-based distress and harmful online conflict
- practitioner training, supervision, probation and worker protection
- service standards, quality assurance and safeguarding records
- working with external real-world services where risk or need exceeds United Hampshire’s proper competence
Who we are
We are a ministerial department responsible for wellbeing, civic care and safeguarding policy.
We sponsor wellbeing and civic-care services established within United Hampshire. Our services do not replace real-world emergency, medical, mental-health, social-care or safeguarding services.
